The Power of Film, Video and TV in the Classroom

The film, video and TV are powerful instructional tools when they are used appropriately and moderately. They can make the teaching and learning process more concrete, lively, colorful and interactive. It contributes to a more lasting learning because of it's visual, audio and motion effects. These effects make learning fun. However, misuse and abuse of their use in the classroom and even at home has far reaching damaging effects in the development in the children's imaginative and thinking powers and sensitivity to human.

Making the Most of Community Resources and Field trips

Field trip is one tool that we can use to connect and relate our students with the topic. It is very effective specially when it is related to the things you want to teach to your students. In planning a field trip, there are many things we need to consider; the parent's consult, the teacher, the students, the principal/head and the place if it is capable as a learning environment. It is also important that in planning and  conducting a field trip, there will be learning that would take place. So, as a future educator, we need to have a good and wise planning for the field trip to be meaningful and effective.

                                            Demonstration In Teaching
Demonstration is Showing How Thing is Done and emphasizing of the salient merits, Utility and Efficiency of a ,concept a method or a process or an attitude. In Demonstration the expert Demonstration should be assumed that his audience knows nothing or a little about what he is intending to demonstrate for him to be very thorough, clear and detailed in his demonstration even to a point of facing the riskof being repetitive. It is not enough that the teacher talks it is necessary also to have materials like visual aids. In preparing Demonstration we first to determine our goals, the materials, we need steps and rehearse.

Dramatized Experiece is very much effective in the affective Domain of the learner, through dramatized Experience our students get attracted, intersted and affected and if they are affected and moved by what we taught, we will most likely leave an impact on them.It can also cater to students multiple intelligences. The Dramatic Experiences cannot be implemented by individuals alone, it allows cooperation to attain learning.

                              DIRECT PURPOSEFUL EXPERIENCES

These are Edited Copies of reality and used as substitutes for real things when it is not practical or not possible to bring or to do real thing in the classroom. These Contrived experience are designed to simulate to real life situation.
It is very much useful in the teaching learning process especially if the things is not present, one example of it is the planetarium, I've experienced seeing the planetarium at Mall Of Asia during my High School Years. The Planet was Magnificent it seems like a real Planet, The heavenly Bodies, The sun, the star..I really Admire the Planetarium Galary.
In our learning these Contrived Experiences is so much vital.

                                                 Direct Purposeful Experience
Direct Purposeful Experiences these are concrete and firsthand experiences that make up the foundation of our learning.

These direct experiences must not be the period or the end. We must brought to a higher plane..

So, as a future Educator I've learned that this direct experiences is the most effective of all experiences because with it the learner can easily pick up and absorb the learning because he|she can perform it personally.
