                              DIRECT PURPOSEFUL EXPERIENCES

These are Edited Copies of reality and used as substitutes for real things when it is not practical or not possible to bring or to do real thing in the classroom. These Contrived experience are designed to simulate to real life situation.
It is very much useful in the teaching learning process especially if the things is not present, one example of it is the planetarium, I've experienced seeing the planetarium at Mall Of Asia during my High School Years. The Planet was Magnificent it seems like a real Planet, The heavenly Bodies, The sun, the star..I really Admire the Planetarium Galary.
In our learning these Contrived Experiences is so much vital.

                                                 Direct Purposeful Experience
Direct Purposeful Experiences these are concrete and firsthand experiences that make up the foundation of our learning.

These direct experiences must not be the period or the end. We must brought to a higher plane..

So, as a future Educator I've learned that this direct experiences is the most effective of all experiences because with it the learner can easily pick up and absorb the learning because he|she can perform it personally.

                "USING AND EVALUATING INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS"
To ensure effective use of instructional material book authors on instructional material advise us to abide by the acronym..
  • P-PREPARE YOURSELF
  • P-PREPARE YOUR STUDENT
  • P-PRESENT THE MATERIAL
  • F-FOLLOW UP
IT IS ONE THING TO SELECT A GOOD INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL, IT IS ANOTHER THING TO USE IT WELL.

                    The cone of Experience

Each person  has his own unique styles of learning and solving problems. Some personal styles of learning and problem solving are highly effective, other styles are not as effective and still others may be ineffective.

Our experience is the best teacher, then teacher should make use of experiential learning. Experiential learning makes use of direct as well as vicarious experience. We have not to experience everything in order to learn. We learn from other people's experiences, too, good as well as not good experience

" SYSTEMATIC APPROACH TO TEACHING"                                                             In systematic approach to instruction there are many steps we need to consider and these steps are very crucial in our learning. The purpose of this is to ensure orderly relationship and interaction of human, technical and environment resources to  fulfill the goals which have been established for instruction.

As a future educator, I learned that the teacher has to take consideration student's need, interest, home background, prior experiences, developmental stages, nature and like.If the teacher will consider this elements the teaching learning process will be effective.

The roles of technology in learning.

Technology is a learning tool to learn with. It also help the leaner to build more knowledge, to think rationally, to analyze, to synthesize, that can enhance and develop  the learner.

So, as a future educator, i am prefare in using technology as my learning tool so that the learners will use their higher order thinking skills to anlyze and solve the problem that is given and the learner can learn by his own.as what Horne and Pine said.."foremost the learner must learn by himself "
